Dr. Nicholas Lin
Medical Director
Dr Nicholas Lin graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He holds a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine and is a registered Family Physician with the Singapore Medical Council. He has been with the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics from 2009 to 2016 and he brings with him his significant experience in Acute Primary Care, Chronic Disease Management, Travel Medicine and Emergency Care to Crawfurd Medical

Dr Nicholas believes strongly in the doctor-patient relationship and in patient-centred care. The multiple awards that he received during his tenure at the polyclinic, such as the iCare Champion Gold Award and the Way of Being Award, is testament to his dedication towards his patients. He aims to keep his patients healthy and to lead good quality lives

He has an interest in Occupational Medicine and Quality Improvement, and his experience in medical audits, staff training, and inter-departmental liaisns will be invaluable in ensuring that the medical centre attains the highest standards of Medical Excellence.
Dr. Penny Tan
Deputy Medical Director
Upon graduation from the University of Leicester (UK), Dr. Penny Tan returned to Singapore to join the residency training program in Internal Medicine. She has a keen interest in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, endocrine-related conditions as well as chronic heart and renal diseases. Her experience in various specialisations in internal medicine has kept her up to date and apt with the necessary skills. Dr. Penny Tan believes that a doctor should learn to understand their patients in addition to understanding the disease in which the patients have. Hence, she has stated that “We have to treat our patients the way we want ourselves and our families to be treated. It is important to be competent but equally important to be empathetic and truthful.”

Prior to entering the medical career, Dr. Penny Tan received the ASEAN III Japan Immersion Program scholarship to study in Japan for a year. Dr. Penny Tan also works as a volunteer doctor at the Hospice Care Association.

Dr. Chia Min Shan
Resident Physician
Dr. Chia Min Shan graduated from the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Family Medicine. She has attended various aesthetic certificate of competency courses and has a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).

Dr. Chia has worked several years in Accident and Emergency departments throughout the country and the National University Polyclinics. Her experiences there have made her well equipped to handle a wide variety of medical conditions. She strongly believes in fostering good doctor-patient relationships and aims to provide her patients reassurance in addition to taking care of their health and well being.

She has keen interests in chronic disease management, preventive health, dermatology and minor surgery. She keeps up to date with the latest medical and healthcare developments by regularly attending medical courses.

Dr. Alisa Tan
Resident Physician

Dr Alisa Tan graduated with a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine in Singapore and a Bachelor of Medicine from the Universiti Kebangssan Malaysia (Malaysia) in 2008.

She has worked for several years in the Accident and Emergency departments in various hospitals in Malaysia. Working in a fast paced environment, dealing with medical emergencies and trauma cases, has enabled Dr Tan to react to any situation calmly and quickly.

Her experience in various specialisations including Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and General Surgery has equipped her with the knowledge and experience to handle a multitude of medical conditions.

Dr Tan has also practised for several years as a general physician with various medical groups in Singapore, including Raffles Medical Group, prior to joining our team at Crawfurd Medical Centre as a full-time physician. She is well-liked by her patients for her warm and approachable personality, and believes in fostering good relationships with them while providing the best possible care.

Dr. Peter Chen
Dr. Peter Chen is a NUS Medical School graduate and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). In his professional experience, he spent 3 years in the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Headquarters as a key member of community projects. He worked with Raffles Medical Group as well as Raffles Health Screeners (RHS) as a Physician Leader from 2009 – 2014 .

Dr. Peter Chen has a keen interest in Anti-Aging medicine. He also believes in managing the external facade and the internal aspects of aging. Thus, he decided to complete his Certificate of Competencies with the National Skin Centre (Singapore). He is also a Certified Anti-Aging physician with the AustralAsian / American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. His other qualifications include laser training in South Korea and hormonal/nutritional medicine in the USA and Australia.


Ms. Jeanit is a qualified radiographer with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology. She has vast experience with various modalities such as Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD), Mammography, X-rays, and Ultrasound. She has been working in Singapore for the past 4 years.


Yiting Yang
Operations Manager
Ms. Yang Yiting was previously a main Clinic Coordinator at Raffles Health Screeners (RHS). As an Operations Manager, she oversees the overall running of the centre. She also coordinates the workflow between departments to ensure a smooth clinical experience for our patients. Ms. Yang Yiting is a certified nutritional medicine professional.
